Vacancy for a Technical Sales Representative who has experience selling raw materials into the manufacturing sector, both food and home- and personal care, required at
a well established essential oil producer. This incumbent must have a minimum of 5 yrs experience selling into the chemical and manufacturing industry and have a proven

Responsibilities:

Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
Drive sales in order to achieve set sales targets
Control selling prices
Scheduling client visits
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand
Formulate sales reports
Sales administration
Keeping sales data
Remain up-to-date with point of sale information, stock availability, price strategies, and long-term negotiated activity while keeping the team updated on all issues
Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
Forecasting and projecting sales volumes
Liaise with finance department re invoicing, credit notes and stock
Regularly review customer service levels with key customers
Ensure good relationship with clients
Liaise with production and logistics re customer service
Attend weekly sales and marketing meetings
Daily sales report
Observe trade actions and record on a standard template for weekly meetings

Requirements:
Grade 12 plus Sales & Marketing Degree / Diploma or equivalent experience
Chemistry or chemical engineering experience will be an advantage
5 years sales experience within a target driven environment in the chemical raw material industry
Market knowledge and research
Computer proficiency – MS office applications and ERP system
