KPA’s

Drive the execution of business strategy to achieve profitable and sustainable growth for the shareholders of company.
Develop a solid marketing strategy to channel fruit into the markets, diversifying exposure with focus on developing new future markets.
Ensure adherence to legal and food safety requirements, and adoption of required certifications for the supply base to maintain and grow our position as a preferred supplier.
Drive synergies within divisions by identifying, sharing and unlocking opportunities for the benefit of the stakeholders.
Represent the company at customers and associations.
Oversee budgeting processes and effective financial controls.
Drive compliance of the Health and Safety management system.
Identify and manage risks.
Effective management of human capital, fostering a culture of performance management and building a leadership talent pipeline.

Requirements:
A tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Commerce/Trade/Business or Marketing. An MBA would be advantageous.
Minimum of 5-10 years senior managerial and sales experience within the export fruit environment.
Knowledge of the fruit market structures within South Africa and abroad.
Experience with working on Palbroker / Fruit software systems and managing an ERP environment
A strong background in logistics management, with the ability to negotiate contracts.
Good communication skills (verbal and writing), managing customer and grower relationships
Solid analytical abilities, with a very high level of proficiency in the use of excel, pivot tables / graphs, and use of BI Dashboards
Board level experience
A strong track record in leading and managing teams
